New, Cleaner XXL Wheel Loaders
AR wheel loaders from Atlas Weyhausen enter the performance class Atlas Weyhausen begins its offensive on the performance class of wheel loaders. With the four new AR wheel loaders from the XXL line, Atlas Weyhausen has raised the bar again and expanded its portfolio for what is probably the largest sector of the global wheel loader market. Just like the compact wheel loaders, the XXL wheel loader models AR 620 to AR 680 with their DOC/DPF/SCR exhaust purification systems also comply with EU Emission Standard V and
are consequently among the cleanest wheel loaders on the market! With these models, it is possible to select speeds between 20 and 50km/h. The design and mechanics are based on the AR 250e, which has successfully established itself in the market since its launch in 2016. The AR 620 is a small heavy-weight with its operation weight of 12.8t and is powered by the water-cooled 115 kW 4 cylinder Deutz in-line TCD 4.1 L4 engine with a remarkable torque of 609 Nm, which is already available at 1,600min-1. The standard shovel capacity is 2.2m³. The series launch is planned for the second half of 2019.

The next model from Atlas Weyhausen’s XXL league is the AR 640 with a 6 cylinder engine and an output of 129.0kW (175.5PS). The standard shovel capacity is 2.5m³ for an operation weight of 13.3t. The machine will be going into series production from 2020.
Both of these larger wheel loaders, AR 660 and AR 680, are powered by the water-cooled 6 cylinder in-line Deutz TCD 6.1 L6 engine with an output of 160kW (218.0PS). The AR 660 has an operation weight of 14t and a standard shovel capacity of 2.7m³; the AR 680 has an operation weight of 14.9 t and a standard shovel capacity of 3.0 m³.
The AR 680 is particularly impressive with its performance parameters, the technical data and an operation weight of 14.9t. It has a break-out force of 11,900daN and a shearing force of 11,600daN. The XXL wheel loader AR 680 stands solidly on its wheels and has an
extended tipping load of 11.150 kg and 9.745 kg in a bent position. This machine will also go into series production from 2020.
During the development of the machine, one of the goals was to reduce fuel consumption by sustainably increasing the overall efficiency of the engine.

The electronically controllable individual components ensure that the components stay in continuous communication with each other. Therefore, the diesel engine only delivers as much power as is actually required. This reduces resource consumption, exhaust emissions, cost and noise.
All 4 models have a well-known compact design – the multiple award-winning machine design of Atlas Weyhausen can also be found in the performance class. A one-piece curved front windscreen as well as a recessed rear windscreen provide an extraordinary 360° all-round view in this size class and contributes to the comfort of the driver at his workplace. In parallel to the XXL line, Atlas Weyhausen is also showcasing its smaller models with EU Emission Standard V compliance in Hall C6/212 at the Bauma in Munich. All relevant information can be found on the new Homepage. Product films featured on the “weycor by Atlas Weyhausen” YouTube channel showcase Atlas Weyhausen machines in impressive operation in 2D and 360° films.
