Lower Saxony state forests receive tree donation
Atlas Weyhausen is involved in a donation for environmental protection.
The companies team;iken and Atlas Weyhausen from Wildeshausen have donated 800 tree seedlings, including planting, to the Niedersächsische Landesforsten (Ahlhorn forestry office). This will be used to reforest areas that have suffered from pest infestation and wind damage caused by storms in recent years. When reforesting, the focus is increasingly on mixed planting, as this is much more resistant to pest infestation and climatic influences than a pure conifer monoculture.
In 2022, Atlas Weyhausen has dispensed with greeting cards and presents at Christmas time and used the money for the planting campaign. An idea that will be pursued further, according to Niels Mansholt, Sales Manager for Germany, Austria and Switzerland. On the subject of the environment, Niels Mansholt explained that ATLAS Weyhausen uses low-emission engine technology for construction machinery and is working on alternative drive concepts. For example, a solution for electric wheel loaders was presented as a special innovation at bauma 2022 in Munich. Atlas Weyhausen is not only focusing on environmentally friendly technology for construction machinery, but is also looking at other areas in this regard! As a traditional company, ATLAS Weyhausen has always paid special attention to sustainability. Regional commitment to future projects is therefore also an important concern and should convey this message to the outside world.
