Handover of the "Safe with a system" seal of approval by the Employers' Liability Insurance Association for Wood and Metal
The "Sicher mit System" seal of approval is an occupational health and safety management system for safety and health at work and is based on the national guidelines for occupational health and safety management systems. The requirements to be met for its introduction go well beyond the legal requirements for occupational health and safety.
In March, Hans Jürn de Boer from the Employer's Liability Insurance Association for Wood and Metal presented a certificate to Atlas Weyhausen GmbH managers. De Boer advises and monitors the member companies of the BGHM on the subject of prevention. In the healthcare sector, this is the generic term for targeted measures and activities aimed at avoiding illness and damage to health, reducing the risk of illness or preventing its occurrence.
The Managing Director of Atlas Weyhausen, Klaus Brunkhorst, gratefully accepted the certificate in the presence of the company's own occupational safety specialist, Werner Renschen. A process has thus been developed and set in motion that focuses on the preventive health of all employees. Atlas Weyhausen GmbH is currently one of the 399 out of a total of 245,000 BGHM companies in Germany that have been awarded the seal of approval. It must be reassessed every three years.
Regular site inspections are carried out to localize potential hazards. Thanks to regular training, employees are familiar with the subject of accident prevention and occupational safety and are actively involved. Occupational safety and prevention have become a matter of course at Atlas Weyhausen.
