Launch of the new Weycor 3 Series: Compact wheel loaders redefined

With the official launch of the new Weycor 3 Series, Atlas Weyhausen is setting a new standard in the compact class. This newly developed generation of wheel loaders combines compact dimensions with a level of performance that was previously often reserved for larger wheel loaders. Demand is already high at the market launch—a clear indication that the requirements of modern construction sites have been precisely met.

The new Weycor 3 Series includes the 360 and 380 models in the 2.7–3.5-ton class—each available in diesel or fully electric versions. In addition, three different lift options are available to provide maximum lifting capacity, high breakout force, or maximum lift height.

Performance and efficiency at a whole new level

The new 3 Series offers exceptional performance in its class. Despite their compact design, the 360 and 380 models deliver performance comparable to that of significantly larger wheel loaders in many applications.

Efficient drive systems, optimally tuned hydraulics, and a well-designed machine architecture ensure high productivity while keeping fuel consumption low. The result: increased performance and a noticeably more efficient workday.

With a lifting capacity of over 1.6 tons, a pallet of bricks is no problem for the Weycor 360.

The Weycor 380 can even lift over 2,000 kg with a pallet fork.

Durability, quality, and reliability

As with all Weycor machines, the Series 3 is designed with a focus on quality and durability. The wheel loaders are designed for daily use on construction sites—robust, low-maintenance, and reliable. The solid articulated swing joint ensures high stability and a secure driving experience, even under demanding conditions and when handling heavy loads. As a result, the series combines the stability of classic construction machinery with the maneuverability of compact machines.

The key difference: the lifting mechanism kit

A key feature of the new 3 Series is its modular lift system. It allows the machine to be tailored precisely to the specific application—a decisive advantage over standardized solutions.

Three lifting mechanism options are available:

• (Short) parallel kinematics (approx. 2,600 mm lift height): maximum lifting force in a compact design – ideal for safely lifting heavy loads such as pallets.
Z-kinematics (approx. 2,900 mm lift height): high breakout forces and fast loading cycles – ideal for earthmoving and material handling.
Highlift parallel kinematics (up to 3,200 mm lift height): maximum lift height – perfect for stacking and loading material at greater heights.

This selection turns a compact wheel loader into a customizable work machine—tailored to the specific requirements of each job site.

Maximum flexibility in use

With an operating weight starting at 2.7 tons, the Weycor 360 is trailer-mounted, making it exceptionally versatile. Easy transport between different job sites ensures high mobility—a key advantage for construction companies and service providers.

With an operating weight of 2.7 tons, the 360 can be easily towed from one construction site to another.

Its compact design also ensures exceptional maneuverability, even on tight construction sites or in urban areas.

Comfort reimagined: the workplace in the compact class

Another highlight of the new 3 Series is the newly developed cabin. It offers a sense of spaciousness that is exceptional for this class and clearly sets it apart from the competition.

Easy entry and exit, excellent all-around visibility, and an ergonomic design make the cab a fully functional workplace. Drivers benefit from greater comfort, better visibility, and a more alert feeling—even on long workdays.

Both the 360 and the 380 feature a spacious and comfortable cab and smart features designed to make your workday more enjoyable.

Fully electric models: future-proof and suitable for everyday use

With the 360e and 380e models, Weycor will also offer the 3 Series as fully electric variants starting in the second half of 2026. These models combine zero-emission operation with high performance and practicality for everyday use.

A key feature is the flexible charging infrastructure:
Thanks to the CCS connector, an integrated onboard charger, and fast charging times of around two hours, the vehicles can be charged almost anywhere—whether at the depot, at a wallbox, or using solar power.

With up to eight hours of runtime in continuous use, the electric models can be fully integrated into daily work routines and offer a cost-effective alternative for many applications.

The all-electric versions of the 380e and 360e can be charged quickly and conveniently. That’s true practicality for everyday use.

New assembly line: Quality taken to a whole new level

The Weycor team for the new 3 Series – ready for the launch.

In parallel with the market launch, targeted investments are also being made at the Wildeshausen plant: a new assembly line has been put into operation there, specifically designed to meet the requirements of the 3 Series.

Ergonomically optimized workstations improve working conditions for employees while also increasing precision in manufacturing. Digital processes support assembly operations and ensure transparency and efficiency.

A key quality feature is the continuous inspection throughout the entire assembly process. After each production step, the relevant components are inspected—a crucial factor in ensuring high quality standards.

State-of-the-art in the compact class

The new Weycor 3 Series combines power, design, flexibility, comfort, and versatility in a compact package—designed to meet the demands of modern construction sites.

The demands of modern construction sites.

With its new 3 Series, Weycor is setting new standards in the compact wheel loader segment. The combination of high power density, modular adaptability, modern comfort, and future-proof drive technology makes the series one of the most advanced solutions on the market.

As MIC 4.0 Ready machines, these models are also ideally suited for the digital construction site. The standardized interface enables easy integration into existing fleet management and telematics systems. For contractors, this means greater transparency regarding machine status and operating hours, improved planning of maintenance and operations, and more efficient management of the entire machine fleet.

The successful launch of the series and the high demand underscore the significance of this development—and demonstrate that compact wheel loaders are now capable of much more than previously expected.
