Atlas Weyhausen launches new wheel loader in its anniversary year.
This year, wheel loader manufacturer Atlas Weyhausen is proud to celebrate its 50th anniversary and presents the new AR 530. The company, which has always been independent from the outset, builds the well-known weycor wheel loaders, which are described by customers as the premium wheel loaders in the construction industry.
All weycor wheel loaders are equipped with modern engines that combine reassuringly high power reserves for difficult applications with contemporary, low emission values. This also applies to the new weycor AR 530, which has a slightly different appearance. Meeting the new legal requirements for exhaust emissions is one thing. Getting tangible benefits for customers is another. More power - less consumption, plus a range of other innovations that have a real impact in tough construction site use. And what's inside can now be recognized from the outside - by the changed type designation and the product name "weycor".
As before, all weycor wheel loaders have a comfort cab that allows safe, fatigue-free working thanks to excellent all-round visibility, clearly arranged controls and ergonomic design. The hydraulic quick-change system allows the attachment to be changed in seconds, making the wheel loader an all-rounder. Simple servicing, quick and easy maintenance and care thanks to centrally located, easily accessible service points facilitate daily machine checks.

The new AR 530 is equipped with a spring-loaded or negative brake, a closed brake system (oil bath multi-disc brake). This keeps the wheel loader safely in position on slopes when the brake or inching function is activated and automatically locks all four wheels when the engine is at a standstill. The multi-disc brake runs in an oil bath and is therefore particularly low-maintenance and low-wear.
The weycor Z-kinematics of the AR 530 are characterized by high breakout forces and excellent lifting heights. The very good parallel guidance offers optimum conditions for the use of pallet forks. The loading arm, which is tapered towards the front carriage, provides the best possible view of the attachment.
Atlas Weyhausen is the only manufacturer to offer weycor wheel loaders with a separate inching pedal. Unlike the combined brake/inch pedal, the risk of driving against the service brake is eliminated. A generously dimensioned inching range enables sensitive distribution of the thrust and lifting forces. The result: less wear and fuel consumption. And it's not just the AR 530 that shines.
The AR 530 is particularly stable thanks to the robust, low-maintenance articulated pendulum joint in conjunction with rigid axles. With an oscillation of ±12° in the rear and an articulation angle of 40° on both sides, these ensure excellent off-road mobility, ground-protecting driving and extreme maneuverability. Thanks to the low center of gravity, all weycor wheel loaders have high tipping stability even under extreme conditions.
TCD 3.6 L4 is the type designation of the Deutz engine that powers the AR530. Behind it is a water-cooled 4-cylinder in-line engine with turbocharging with an output of 80 kW at a maximum of 2,200 rpm and cooled external exhaust gas recirculation and charge air cooling. The powerful common rail injection system and electronic engine management (EMR) with intelligent connection to the drive management system ensure the best engine performance with low fuel consumption. Using the diesel particulate filter, the engines meet the EU Stage V emissions standard.
